AUX made the design and performed the electrical and mechanical outfitting of the wet bell.
The wet-bell is used for diving (training) activities. The Davit boom (for handling purposes of the wet-bell) can rotate 90 degrees CW and CCW.
The wet-bell is made of an AISI 316 frame with on top an acrylic dome for 360 degrees view for the divers inside. The wet-bell is designed for two or three fully equipped divers. On top of the wet-bell a locking system is created to fixate the bell with the Davit boom in order to prevent free swinging of the wetbell.
The wet-bell is outfitted with two or three air cylinders for emergency breathing air purposes and an onboard gas panel including valves, pressure gauges and a digital bell depth gauge. The amount of cylinders depends on the number of divers in the wetbell (two or three). Also excursion umbilical’s for the divers are included.
